Hi all and welcome to the final Trend-Alert Tuesday idea on the theme of cameos and silhouettes. May is practically done, coming to an end with a Tuesday and so my final card of the month is celebrating the fab silhouette theme…
I couldn’t resist this amazing all-over patterned paper of silhouettes by Jenni Bowlin (JBS ‘Be Our Guest – Hers‘). Enabler- I picked this up at Sarah’s Cards.
I’ve used it as a background for my girly card, and added a narrow strip of the reverse of the paper for the stripy accent.
The focal message is on a die-cut layer of Nestabilities – Scalloped Circles, Small and Standard Circles, Small – and the top circle is stamped with a medium doily pattern (second generation stamped for a softer, more subtle effect). It’s from the Papertrey Ink ‘Delightful Doilies‘ set, designed by Dawn McVey.
The sentiment is stamped from Waltzing Mouse Stamps ‘Say it with Style‘.
Hope you likey. Meanwhile, for a final fix of ideas on this fabby silhouettes and cameos theme, here are a few projects that I’ve come across in the blogosphere.
