Trend-Alert Tuesday: Bunting for August

So it just a quickie from me this morning – I am running late and don’t want to miss the train!!
It’s time for a new Trend-Alert Tuesday theme… YAY, and this month we are going for bunting and banners 😉
What’s not to love? All summery and fun!

A few things then:
The cute bunting is made from scraps – folded over a bit of twine.
The branch and birdies are stamped from Hampton Arts clear set ‘Footlongs – Warm Fuzzies‘. Super cute set. (Enabler – I scored these from Emerald Crafts.)
Clouds are doodled in white gel pen, and the message is layered up patterned paper (more scrap usage!!) with flock stickers (Doodlebug Design) and some mini gems.

Got to be honest… I’m not altogether pleased with this card. The idea and design are good, but I was in a hurry last night to get it done before bed and it was late and I was tired.
All of which = a not very good level of finish for my card.

I think it shows, so I am not going to send this card.
It will be heading for the ‘recycle me’ pile. Ah well, you can’t win them all.
